The event will feature three comedians - John Turco, Chrissy Hurley and Chris Pennie - all hailing from the acclaimed Nick's Comedy Stop in Boston. All proceeds will benefit Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts.
"The only thing better than going out for an evening of laughter during the middle of winter is when doing so helps to provide our young people experiences and skills that will help them succeed," said JASM President Caroline Cuccia.
Junior Achievement is dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Taught by a local volunteer typically hailing from the business community, JA programs use hands-on activities to empower students, grades K-12, to make the vital connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world, enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school.
The event features a cash bar. Event attendees may also receive a 10% discount for dinner at the Galley Grille, which is located at White's, by showing their ticket. Dinner reservations at the Galley Grille are strongly recommended.
Tickets are $15 per person or $150 to reserve a table of 10. All organizations that purchase a table of 10 or more will receive recognition as a sponsor at the event.
