New Bedford’s 2012 summer season is full of special events that complement the city’s year-round attractions like the Whaling Museum, the National Historical Park, and Zeiterion Performing Arts Center.” Visitors and residents can also enjoy a visit to Buttonwood Park Zoo, a Festival Theatre performance, a tour of the Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum and many more events and activities.
Mayor Mitchell also said the City and the New Bedford Economic Development Office are working collaboratively to showcase all of the great summer events New Bedford has planned throughout the summer months.
