NEW PANELIST

Elizabeth James-Perry is replacing Carl Cruz as a panelist. Elizabeth is enrolled with the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe and is a descendant of Captain Jonathan Cuffee and Hepsibah Occouch. She holds a degree in Marine Science from UMass Dartmouth and was the Federal Tribal Co-Lead of the Northeast Ocean Planning Body. She worked as tribal chair and archivist for Radcliffe’s Anti-Slavery Petition Project and is currently Artist-in-Residence at Amherst College. Her museum-quality textiles and wampum have been exhibited internationally.
