Enjoy the Independence Day by running the 42nd Mattapoisett Road Race! This 5 mile race has been enjoyed by runners, families, residents of New England and afar for its’ 41 years! The Race begins at 9:00am, Wednesday, July 4, 2012. “New England Runner" continually chooses it as one of New England's top races. The mostly shaded course winds through the picturesque village of Mattapoisett.

5 mile race, Register at www.mattapoisettroadrace.com $15.00 by 26 June, $20.00 til 3 July $25.00 day of the race. t-shirts for first 750 runners. Proceeds awarded to graduating seniors at ORRHS.
