Children who love the water and adventure will love Save The Bay’s week-long summer camps right on the waterfront in Providence. Save The Bay’s week-long BayCamp for children who have completed kindergarten and first grade promises hands-on, Bay-centric activities that are as much fun as they are educational. Headquartered at the Bay Center at Fields Point, Junior BayCamp blends age-appropriate marine science and environmental education with shoreline fun. Inside the classrooms, campers interact with the marine life that call Narragansett Bay home, through touch tanks and counselor-led crafts and games, while the rocky shoreline of Fields Point gives campers the perfect place to explore critters and natural habitats nearby, building valuable knowledge about the Bay’s natural beauty, resources, and what they can do to help preserve it.
